While the before and after photos on their website are questionable, in reality this product does offer increased volume and length after 2 weeks, although still not enough to stop using mascara. Also, there isn’t a noticeable difference in the darkness of the lashes. Oriental women and older women who suffer from sparse, straight eyelashes seem to have good luck with this product and even notice curl in their lashes. Verdict: One of the more natural eyelash growth products with good results.
LatisseLatisse is a cosmeceutical product that requires a prescription for use (it was originally a treatment for glaucoma). The manufacturers claim that results can be seen anywhere from 8-16 weeks. The liquid product is applied to the eyelash line daily and promises longer, thicker and darker lashes. It costs around $100-$120 dollars and the results are very good if you persevere and wait for 16 weeks to really see the full results. The negative side effects can include redness, itching and discoloration to the eyelid and eye. Verdict: Excellent results, but higher risk than other eyelash growth products.
