Lotions and potions and creams . . . oh my! It seems like the more beauty products companies come out with the more we have to weed through. I think I speak for all of us when I say Ahhhhh! It’s so frustrating. I can just hear the thoughts of the woman who carefully picks up wrinkle cream after wrinkle cream, reading the labels and testing the samples

Will this work? Wait this one looks good... But it’s too expensive. This one is on sale . . . but ew, it smells weird. And what does this beauty product even do?! We’ve all been through the beauty aisle debate and quite simply it stinks.

In today’s overflowing market it can be extremely difficult to know what beauty and anti-aging products are really worth their sometimes extravagant cost.Beauty products that promise amazing results may leave you more broken out than before you began them.
 

 
Other products that make it to the bargain bin may surprise you and be just what the doctor ordered. Either way, it seems like it is a long drawn out process of let downs and small successes to find the perfect shade of makeup, truly age defying regimen or perfume that doesn’t set off your allergies.

Like you, I’ve been through the beauty products aisle limbo. I’ve checked out prices when other women weren’t looking and thought “No way I’m paying that much for this little tube.” I’ve paid careful attention to that flawless girl who buys the anti-aging cream that I thought was too expensive and I’ve quickly added it to my cart too only to be disappointed that I didn’t come away looking like her. And worse, I lost my money trying to do it!

And quite frankly . . . I got tired of being ripped off. I was tired of losing money that would be better left spent on a new pair of Jimmy Choos! Or in the case of that wrinkle cream gone wrong, that whole chocolate cheesecake I downed from the Cheesecake Factory because I didn’t end up looking like Miss Perfect in the beauty aisle. (But shhh. That’s just between you and me.)

That is why I invented this site, because all women, like me are fed up with the limbo. Here you’ll find a place where women can come together and discover what really works for real women. Within the pages of this website you will find beauty reviews on a wide range of products. Those you have heard of and even some of those you haven’t. You won’t find any sugar coating here. Some well-known brands often come away with reviews that don’t quite measure up to their multi-million dollar television ads.

Our product reviews start with one thing in mind . . . the product. Our products are tried and tested by real women with no ulterior motives. We don’t get paid by major companies to give great reviews (even though they’d like that.) We don’t give preference to Neiman Marcus’s luxury splurges. And we don’t count out the underdog just because it comes from the local Dollar Tree, nor does a good price mean it will get rave reviews.

For years, women have depended on one another’s advice . . . “Does this dress make me look fat?” and other must know advice about what makes us look just as beautiful outside as we are on the inside. Some gather around tea, others around cocktails or Saturday shopping and we dish about love, life and staying fabulous. That’s what you will find here, just a bunch of us girls, dishing on what works, what doesn’t, no baloney.
